So…I had to clean and am still cleaning. My craft space was full of great craft supplies that I just was not using. Instead of just doing the easy thing and just dumping it into the trash, I decided to box them up and see if anyone would like them. Each box is full of a variety of supplies, most current and others not, but they are all still great! If you are new to crafting or just want more stuff, a box or two would be great for you!

I have two mystery boxes you can select from so that you can have an idea of what you are getting. They are both packaged in Medium Flat Rate Priority Mail boxes for easy shipping and are all ready to ship tomorrow. There is a Stamp/Embellishment box or a Paper box you can select.

The Stamp/Embellishment box includes clear and wood-mounted stamps (mostly clear that I’ve cleared out from a Clip-it-Up). Contents also include lots of alphabet stickers (such as Thickers) and a large assortment of embellishments. There’s loads of stuff in there that everyone would love. Some brands include Unity Stamp Co., Verve Stamps, My Favorite Things, Stamps of Life, American Crafts, and more.

The Stamp/Embellishment box is available for $20. This price INCLUDES shipping to continental U.S. addresses. I will ship to international address; however, additional shipping fees may apply. Please inquire. Limited quantities, so don’t miss out!

*****EDITED TO UPDATE: ALL SOLD OUT. Will contact those on a waiting list as boxes become available.

The Paper box includes 12×12 cardstock and patterned paper assortment. Some of the brands include Webster’s Pages, Pink Paislee, DCWV, K&Co., and Hambly Screen Prints to name a few.

The Paper box is available for $20.

I also have a Cricut Bundle I’m interested in selling. It would include a Cricut Expression, manual, un-opened deep cutting blade and NINE cartridges (Opposites Attract, Plantin Schoolbook, New Arrival, Home Accents, Accent Essentials, Paper Pups, Beyond Birthdays, Alphalicious, Stretch Your Imagination). The Cricut is like new as are the cartridges. The cartridges have never been loaded onto a Jukebox, so they are fully functional. I am the original owner of all the products. I’m asking $180 (plus shipping) for the bundle. To get started, all you would need is a new cutting mat and of course some paper. Serious buyers, send me a message for questions or more details.

*****EDITED TO UPDATE: SOLD

So, if you’d like to take any of these awesome craft products off my hands and give them some love in your craft space, please contact me and let me know what box you would like or if you are interested in purchasing the Cricut bundle! I’ll send a PayPal payment request and will ship the next day! Thanks!

*****EDITED TO ADD: Thanks so much for your interest in the mystery craft supply boxes. I really appreciate your support and help in getting these supplies to a better home. I’ll be doing a bit more organizing tonight and the rest of this week, so stay tuned for more mystery box updates.

Hey there! I have something non-crafty to share, but oh so worthy. A blog reader so graciously shared this wonderful information with me and I’m just passing it on. Some of you may know about using this setting, but it was new to me. Previously, I was using a “Preview” plug-in for my Google Reader. It worked well, allowing me to preview the actual blog posting and even make comments on most blogs; however, some blogs would redirect from Reader to their site causing me to lose my place as I scrolled through the posts in the Reader.

Using the new “Next” method allows a reader to browse the posts directly and not lose their place. The great thing about it is, you can visit the blog/web site directly, which means you get to see any new designs or sidebar information that you may miss while browsing in Reader. This navigation alternative also makes it super easy to leave comments! So, how do you do it?

Go to Google Settings

Click on “Goodies” link in the orange menu bar.

Under the third category, “Put Reader in a Bookmark,” drag the “Next” button to your browser’s toolbar. This is usually where you have bookmarks saved.

Once you have some posts in your Reader, simply click next and the open window will navigate to the next web site. You can continue to click your “Next” button in your browser toolbar until you reach the end of your Reader (you will be notified).

Now, you may not want to use this method if you have 500 posts to browse, but I really like it because I get to visit each person’s site. Which brings me to share that I changed my blog header last week, so if you are reading this in your Reader or via e-mail click on over to take a peek at my new polka dot design!

For the e-mail subscribers, if you do not like to get bombarded with e-mails in your inbox, I highly recommend Google Reader because it separates your direct e-mails from web site posts. I also like Google Reader over e-mail RSS feeds because it updates throughout the day as opposed to one e-mail per day (like most e-mail feeds). For instance, if I post something on my blog after the cut off when the e-mail feed goes through, you will not receive an e-mail update about my posting until the following day; however, Google Reader subscribers will gain notification of the posting pretty much immediately. The downside is that you do have to check your Reader as you would your e-mail, so it’s like having another e-mail account, but it is worth it!

I hope that was clear! Perhaps I am the last one to know this trick, but I thought I would share it just in case! Let me know if you have any questions. I’m not an expert, but I love the Internet!

I also wanted to remind you all about my Stamp Sale. For those who purchased stamps yesterday before 1:00 am EST, your packages have been shipped and you should have all received shipping notifications with tracking (where applicable). Thank you so much for your interest in these stamps and I’m so happy to get them off to their new “forever homes!”

There are still quite a few great stamp selections left. So, please take a moment to stop by and check them out before they’re all gone! All purchases today before 1:00 am EST will ship by Wednesday!

I hope to be back tomorrow with a video to share, but if I’m not because I’m too busy packing up stamps, please don’t throw tomatoes at me! Have a great day!

Happy Friday, Bleeps*! I have something special I gathered together just for you. I’ve combined a few of my favorite finds, some common and others unique for a fun spring kit to create lots of projects in a breeze! I have three projects that I created with the contents of ONE KIT! There are so many ways you can use the kit contents, all together on a project or separately here and there on a few projects.

For this card, I stamped the floral pattern on cream cardstock. Then, I added the patterned paper strip to the right side to make the width about 4″. Next, I added the burlap strip using Scor-Tape. I inked the cream cardstock and all of the edges with distress inks, then adhered it to an A2 kraft card base. Next, I used my craft kife to cut a small “incision” along the top fold of the card – just long enough to thread the twill tape ribbon through. I tied the ribbon into a bow, then secured the button around the knot with twine. Adhere the egg nest on a mini tag, then adhere under ribbon knot with foam adhesive. The last step is to stamp the sentiment.

I guess the person had twins! haha The sentiment could be altered for something about spring or even Easter!

I also altered this metal gift card tin. First, cover the top with some of the fabric. Turn the fabric on the “wrong” side and trace around the tin’s lid with a pencil, then trim with fabric scissors and adhere directly on the top on the “right” side. Trim a strip of pink cardstock – about .25″ wide and adhere around the bottom portion of the tin. Next, trim a very thin strip of the fabric with the pinking edge and adhere it to the tin so that it peeks out where it opens. Last, add ribbon around the tin’s top border, tie into a bow, and adhere the resin flower. Voila! A custom gift card tin that can be re-used for multiple occasions or ideas.

I even scrapped! YAAY! I created this super quick layout using a few of the other kit contents, including velvet ric rac trim, stamped post card, and heart shaped doily!

Velvet Ric Rac Roses

To create these rose flowers, simply wrap your velvet ric rac trim around in a circle with your hand. I added a bit of Helmar’s 450 Quick Dry liquid adhesive at the beginning to keep the center in place while rolling. Some of the layers will not be ‘tight’, so you can add more adhesive. To make the flower the right shape, add adhesive to your surface where it will “live.” Stick down the ric rac rose and use your fingers to fold back the layers to expose the wavy, velvet pattern. The liquid adhesive gives you time to work with each layer and make it look exactly how you want it! Embellish the center with pearls!

Here’s the stamped post card. I added some ribbon to the ends and left some lines available for journaling (for Miss K’s mom)! You can also see the heart shaped doily peeking out! The die cut flower is used to embellish the flower theme a bit more and is the only item not in the kit; however, there are other garden-related patterned die cuts included.

The layout patterned paper is My Mind’s Eye Stella & Rose collection from the March Studio Calico kit (as are those American Crafts thickers)!

So here’s the kit! If the photos are too small, try clicking on each image to reveal the full size image. To read about the kit contents and purchase it, click here!
