Papertrey Ink | Introducing Forest Floor: Spring Stamps + Dies

I’m so excited about today! I get to share some cards using Papertrey Ink’s new Forest Floor: Spring stamps and dies. This new series is designed by Lizzie Jones and it’s all about how the forest looks during the spring season. I designed three cards to share varying ways you may want to use this new product collection. You can purchase it on February 15 at 10 pm ET from Papertrey Ink.

The first card shows how you can use the stamps and dies to create an Easter card. You can stamp the flowers any color you want, even if that means they may be a little untraditional!

I clustered the die cuts to create spring foliage by adhering them at varying heights. I add it on to a Mix & Mat: Plaid die cut.

The Easter sentiment is included in the stamp set along with the border image that coordinates with the shaped framed.

Stamps: Forest Floor: Spring

Ink: Smokey Shadow, Harvest Gold, Sweet Blush, Simply Chartreuse, Green Parakeet, Limeade Ice

Dies: Forest Floor: Spring, Mix & Mat: Plaid

Paper: White

Size: 4-¼” x 5-½”

On this birthday card, I am sharing how you can heat emboss the white lily of the valley for a more traditional look.

I stamped the lilies first, then added the grass in different shades of green and even kraft inks. This would look great on a cream or white card base as well.

Stamps: Forest Floor: Spring

Ink: Rive Avocado, Simply Chartreuse, Classic Kraft, Smokey Shadow, Versamark

Dies: Forest Floor Spring, Tag Sale: Quilted

Paper: Kraft, True Black

Other: white embossing powder

Size: 5-½” x 4-¼”

For this birthday card, I wanted to share a more colorful and non-traditional use of one of leaf stamps.

Using the largest leaf stamp, I created a pattern in a rainbow color palette. This technique can work to cover the entire card front or you can change the position of the leaf and have them vertical. I tried that and it looks great as well.

Sometimes, we get a stamp set and we like it for a specific occasion, but taking just of the images, you can create so much more!

Stamps: Forest Floor: Spring

Ink: Scarlet Jewel, Pure Poppy, Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise, Harvest Gold, Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Winter Wisteria, Amethyst Allure, Versamark

Dies: Forest Floor: Spring

Paper: White, True Black

Other: white embossing powder

Size: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
