It may be Monday, but I have a special card to share with you today using Papertrey Ink’s Beautiful Berries: Winter stamps and dies. It’s perfect for the upcoming holiday season, as it’s a tri-fold photo card.
For this card, I used my most recent Make It Monday tutorial on making a z-fold card. I adjusted the back panel by trimming off the angle. Doing so, will allow the card to fit in an A2 envelope.
Beautiful Berries: Winter is a gorgeous stamp set to use during the holiday season. The berries are intended to be inked in shades of blue or green, but I love making berries red.
I added the Bitty Big: Pure Poppy stripes patterned paper to the second panel.
After die cutting the shapes, I stamped the coordinating floral sprays, then stamped the sentiment. I stamped a subtle polka dotted pattern on the card front.
Then, I added a thin strip of green cardstock to create an extra border. Last, I adhered the stamped floral die cuts and trimmed excess off the overhanging sides.
On the last panel, I added a piece of cardstock, stamped the polka dots and another sentiment.
This style of card is great for holiday photo cards because you have the option to add a few images, a letter, or more sentiments.
