Happy Saturday! I hope the weather in your area is starting to warm up and the sun in shining. Spring is right around the corner, so I have a few more projects to shares using Papertrey Ink’s March 2017 Release product collections that are inspired by the season of spring. Papertrey Ink’s March Release product collections are now available here.
The new Carrot Treat Box Die is so much fun! I made a handful of carrot treat boxes for Lauren’s class. I have a few more to make because I miscounted the number of students in her class, but no problem because the boxes are easy to die cut and assemble.
The die comes with LOTS of dies and you can use them outside of making the treat box. There are a few tag dies and this is one of them. I used So Sweet stamps to add the sentiment.
I also used a banner die from the carrot treat box die collection to make the folded tag with the sentiment “Happy Spring!”
I secured the box with some twill tape ribbon and added the tag with twine. I still need to find some treats to fill in the boxes that are pre-school age appropriate.
Here’s my Easter card! I think my favorite season to create is Spring because of the soft pastels. I’m using the new Cutaway Tags: Spring stamps and dies.
The Cutaway Tag: Spring die can be used alone. I watercolored the flowers; however, the stamp set comes with coordinating images to stamp each of the flowers and of course sentiments.
I stamped the flower centers and the vines on the leaves. The font selection for this set is also a favorite of mine! I added this die cut to a Scene It die and softened it up with some tulle. The patterned paper is from the new Make It Market Mini Kit: Bloom & Grow.
Thanks for stopping by to see my creations and what I’ve been up to! Enjoy your weekend.
