More Papertrey Ink March Release: Day 1

Hey there! Thanks so much for joining me last night on Periscope/Facebook Live! We had a blast, right! I am sharing a few more of my projects today. Papertrey Ink’s March Release product collections are now available here.

My first card features Courage & Kindness, a beautiful stamp and die collection that’s perfect for uplifting one’s spirits. The flowers are trendy and bold. I really like the easy-to-stamp flower cluster option, which is featured in the center of my card.

I highlighted each flower by adding shading using colored pencils. It’s an easy technique that adds dimension to your stamped flowers.

I also used the new Keep It Simple: Friend stamps on this card. I like the variety of fonts in that stamp set and you can pair them with other sentiments like I did here. On the second line, I used sentiments from Courage & Kindness.

Next up is the first Year of Psalms collection. This quote is for February. I also used the new Mix & Mat: Flourishes die. I used two of the dies together to get the frame I wanted to showcase that sentiment.

I watercolored the background, then stamped the sentiment, and last stamped those music accents.

For this card, I’m showcasing Quoted: Move Mountains, which is a new stamp and die set. So, you get both the stamps and the dies when you purchase it!

I paired it with the Mix & Mat: Flourishes die and only used the dotted frame. I left the wholes intact, but you could also poke them out for a different look.

After stamping the images on the coordinating die cuts, I colored them using Copic markers.

My last card features Year of Psalms: March. I also paired the new Fun Frames dies to highlight the sentiment.

I stamped the solid feathers in a blob of ink with a little water, then stamped it onto my watercolor paper to create a patterned paper backdrop. Next, I stamped the detailed feather image over the solid feather image.

The Fun Frames dies can be used together or separately. Here, I’ve used this size with both frames together.

Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back tomorrow with more project inspiration!

  • Nancy M - Your first card reached right out to me today. I needed that message and the happiness of the flowers. Thank you, Ashley!ReplyCancel
