Papertrey Ink January Release in Review

Papertrey Ink’s January Release will be here TONIGHT! I have a few more projects to share with you today. I’ll also be on Papertrey Ink’s Periscope tonight at 9pm EST, so I hope you’ll join me to see the latest products LIVE! Don’t forget, the January Release will be available at Papertrey Ink on January 15 at 10 pm EST.

This card features Dress Up Dolls: Birthday. This edition of the Dress Up Dolls series includes a lot of images that do not necessarily require Dress Up Dolls: Basics, so I thought I’d show a way you can create a card without using the “doll.”

Using the masking technique, I stamped three clusters of the balloons as the card focal point. I added some stamped confetti and used Copic markers to color all of the images.

I stamped the “Let’s” from Dress Up Dolls: Birthday, but used a PARTY die from the previously released Party Trio die collection. I layered about four PARTY dies to get great dimension.

This card is for my mom and I know she’s going to see it, but oh well! 🙂 She loves burgundy, so I decided to use What the Doodle: Paisley and heat emboss the gold design onto the card front. I paired it with the new Family Ties stamps and die to create my sentiment.

My next card showcases the Medallion Trio dies. With this die collection, you get the detail dies (as I used on this card) and also the basic shapes.

I also used Family Ties stamp to personalize the retirement greeting from Keep It Simple: Retirement, which will also be available for this release.

I die cut the small medallions from different cardstock colors and added them to the card front. I added pearls to the centers of the medallions. What grandma doesn’t like pearls, right?!

My last card for today is all about the Boho Rounds stamp set. I paired it with the new Banner Style stamps for the sentiment.
