Introducing Splits: Hello There

Hello there friends! Welcome back to my blog. Papertrey Ink’s January Release will be here before you know it, so let’s get started. Today, I am introducing Maile Belle’s latest Splits edition. Hello There is a great new stamp set with a modern twist. This design is perfect to create a handful of notecards swiftly. Splits: Hello There will be available at Papertrey Ink on January 15 at 10 pm EST.

I made a trio of cards to showcase ways you can use Splits: Hello There stamps and dies. They’re all super clean and simple, but some involve a few steps more than the other.

My first card uses Splits: Hello There in a repeated pattern to create a patterned design. You could stamp a full sheet, part of a sheet, or a layout like I’ve done here. To achieve this look, simply stamp one side of the Splits stamp and repeat it in a pattern of your choice.

This card features Splits: Hello There die and stamp images. I used Watercolor Wonder patterned paper and added to it using small stamps from Splits: Hello There.

I stamped the frame and sentiment onto the coordinating die cut and added it to the patterned paper with foam adhesive.

This card shows how you can create a card swiftly and add a little color easily. After stamping the frame, I colored it with Copic markers in various hues of blue.

Next, I cut a strip of cardstock and stamped the sentiment on it and added it to the card front with foam adhesive.

Splits: Hello There also comes with the lines and dots, so I added them to the sides of the card front design.
