I don’t know about you all, but my most common need for crafting is for birthdays. Most of these projects are already gifted to Lauren’s friend yesterday! There was a need and it was fulfilled!

For You is a must-have stamp and die collection for birthdays. Not only is it simple and easy to create beautiful birthday tags, but you can also make cards. I paired it with the latest Dress Up Dolls: Winter Fun to personalize the card for the birthday boy.

For this card, I used the Hooray patterned paper to create a festive backdrop. After die cutting, stamping, and coloring the little boy dressed in his winter gear, I tucked him behind a new For You die that features candles. I die cut the tag from white cardstock, then colored the candles using Copic markers. Then, I die cut a Window Cut Tag in Spring Rain to add some color.

I really like the way the card turned out and how adding the little boy personalizes it and makes it a kid friendly masculine design.

Many times when you are celebrating a birthday, there are gifts involved. I really like to use gift bags, so adding a tag is very important to identify who is the giver. I made this tag to coordinate with the card and it’s pretty much an exact replica except for the sentiment. I really like how this works as a sentiment to place on a gift bag tag. I’m showcasing it here with Dory, which you could also do when gifting a small gift item.

What I want to point out in this photo is the Basic Cut Tag in white. It’s a die for the full tag shape. I’ve layered it behind the For You candle tag die cut so I could add the To/From on it.

My last project is a gift card holder featuring the Wrap It Up dies. These simple bow dies can transform a card, tag, or gift wrap into a “present.”

I chose to work with the Seed Packet die. It’s so simple to cut, then add a gift card inside. By adding the Wrap It Up dies to the front, there’s minimal need for stamping because it’s embellished!

I’m sharing how a gift card can easily fit inside and how it looks like a wrapped gift. This is going to get a lot of use during the holiday season and many other occasions.

Check out the bow die cut details. The stitching and multiple layers you add to create the bow is amazing! I stamped polka dots onto the seed packet for a fun design.
