A view of my three card I’ve created for today’s post. They’re full of florals, but featured in three distinct ways. I have more ideas for the new Better Together stamp set, including watercoloring and ink blending, but today I’ll stick to heat embossing, colored pencils, white gel pen tracing, and paper piecing.

My first card features the largest floral image in Better Together. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and colored it using colored pencils. My favorite color combo on the flowers is the turquoise and navy. I really like the way the white popped with those colors.

I used a sentiment from the set and stamped it on Canyon Clay cardstock strips, then popped them off the card front.

I love the way colored pencils and the white embossed image pops on the kraft card front. This is a simple design, yet very colorful!

My next card is a simple way to use Better Together. I paired it with the new Leaf & Sprig Frames Die and the new Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical Die.

Better Together, is a great floral illustration stamp set that you can use without coloring. You can simply stamp it on your card front to use as a background. I stamped it using Mint Julept for a tone-on-tone effect, then felt like doodling and traced along the floral illustrations using a white gel pen.

My last card showcases Better Together along with Inspired: Mercy. On this card, I used the paper piecing technique, but did not apply it to the entire illustration.

Using the largest floral illustration, I stamped it on a diagonal Next, I stamped the individual flower die cuts on different colored cardstocks. On a few of the flowers, I pieced separate layers for a multi-colored look.

Inspired: Mercy die was used along with a coordinating sentiment.

I added a polka dotted patterned paper strips to the top and bottom panels, then added it to a scalloped card front.
