Make It Market Mini Kit: Color Pop Florals

Welcome to Day 8 of Papertrey Ink’s February Anniversary Release. Today, the design team is showcasing a new Make It Market Mini Kit: Color Pop Florals. The kit includes something new! Not only do you receive stamps, dies, and patterned papers, but also stencils! I have a couple of ways you can use the kit contents to make two different cards.  All new products will be available at Papertrey Ink on February 15 at 10 pm ET.

My first card uses the dies and patterned papers. No stamps. No ink.

I die cut the flowers from a piece of patterned paper that is included in the collection.

Next, I added the flower die cuts over another sheet of patterned paper.

Last, I die cut the sentiment a couple of times and layered them to create a shadow effect.

My next card uses the stencils included in the kit. I used an ink blending technique to make the flowers appear on the white cardstock.

Next, I stamped the floral details.

Last, I added the sentiment die cut and matted it onto an A2 card front.

Here is a new episode to my creative process series! I hope you enjoy watching a part of my process in making a Color Pop Florals card. These videos aren’t intended to be tutorials, but just a peek over my craft table while I create. I like to think of it as another way to showcase my projects in action in addition to the still photographs.
