Introducing Fancy That

Today, the Papertrey Ink design team is showcasing Fancy That, a new stamp set that has lots of elegantly designed medallions you can use for so many occasions. I’ve designed two cards – one simple and the other not so simple! All of these new items will be available for purchase on August 15th at 10 pm EST at Papertrey Ink.

My first card uses one of the medallions in Fancy That. What I love most is that you can simply stamp the images and let them be or add more coloring techniques.

I stamped the medallion in hawaiian shores, white, and hibiscus burst inks. I used soft stone as my base cardstock and embellished each medallion with a sequin and rhinestone. Last, I stamped the sentiment at an angle.

My simple card design uses another one of the medallions. I stamped half of the medallion on the edge of the soft stone cardstock. I embellished the centers with a rhinestone and stamped the sentiment. I added the stamped cardstock to a 4×6 hibiscus burst card base to have a bit of a border on the left side.
