Boutique Accessories

Erin’s new Boutique Accessories product collection really has opened the door for any and everyone to create fabulous handmade accessories. I used some flower dies to create some brooches. These brooches can be worn on your shirt/sweater, attached to a belt or even used as shoe clips! After stitching all of the flower layers together, I secured a pin on the back to allow one to attach it to just about any surface. I added a resin flower to center (another new product Papertrey will have in their store on the 15th).

To package it all, I die cut the patterned paper and added it to the accessory card. I absolutely LOVE how professional everything turned out. I will be making more of these for myself and to gift!

Here is another set of brooches made with bloom builder dies. I layered three sets of flowers and stitched them together.

I stamped the top of the accessory card with the coordinating stamp image.

Here’s a view of the back of the brooch. You can see the pin attached, which allows you to secure it just about anywhere. I think these would make fabulous shoe clips for a pair of simple black shoes.

  • Jennifer - Ashley,

You really inspire me with all your beautiful cards and projects. I love the felt flowers and have even purchased the bloom builders dies but when I have attempted to make hair accessories using them I end up with a lot of bulk when attaching them to a hair clip. Would you care to share any tips about how you make yours, or a video tutorial would be wonderful.
    Thank you for any help,
