Hey there! This week, I have a Make It Monday video up on Nichole’s blog for Papertrey Ink. I showcase a few ideas on how you can continue your card designs onto the inside – making the greeting that much more memorable as the cover. Here are a few projects and the video. Don’t forget to link up a card over on Nichole’s blog!
On the exterior, I kept it fairly clean and simple, adding a bit of texture with an impression plate and using a raised die cut.
On the interior, I demonstrate how to use border die cuts to frame the greeting. I also share how to use vellum
On the exterior of this card, I show layered die cuts, with some patterned paper, and fun stitching.
On the interior, I show how you can add patterned paper to hide any stitching and also stamp on it as well.
I also share how you can customize your card interiors with alphabet dies to include the recipient’s name. You can of course also use Papertrey Ink’s interactive pop-up dies too!
A fairly simple one-layer stamped holiday card.
