Halloween Inspiration

Hey Everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Today, I am here to share some Halloween projects with you for Papertrey Ink’s August release. All of the new and unlisted supplies will be available August 15 at 10pm EST. So, let’s not wait for any more tricks…onto the treats!

For my first project, I created an invitation that you can create for a little Halloween party. Very simple and easy to replicate.

I stamped the background pattern in Fine Linen ink using Tremendous Treats: Halloween stamp set. I die cut “Mr. Bones” and stamped the coordinating image. So fun!

The sentiment is stamped in True Black from Mr. Bones as well.

For my next project, I used a couple of the mini paint cans to hold some treats. These would be great party favors or even a cute way to hand out treats to neighbors.

I wrapped some new Royal Velvet striped patterned paper around the can. Next, I added some True Black twill tape and tied it into a bow. I die cut and stamped the ghost from Happy Haunting. I used Winter Wisteria ink to stamp the ghost’s body.

For the sentiment, I stamped it on a vintage tag and added a Winter Wisteria button.

Now, for my last project, I made a Halloween garland using the Shape Up Series: Pumpkin dies. I connected them using some pom pom trim.

Here is a close up of one of the patterned pumpkins. I used Autumn Abundance and Orange Zest polka dot patterned papers. This pumpkin shows how I used all of the Shape Up Series: Pumpkin dies A-E. I used die B to create the sections of patterned paper for the pumpkin. To get this combination, I die cut the sections 3 times from 3 different patterned papers and was able to make 3 different patterned pumpkins for my garland.

For this pumpkin, I only used die A, C-F because I didn’t add the sections. However, I did dry emboss it using the Herringbone Impression Plate. Love the results! For the stem, I stamped them all with a little Background Basics: Woodgrain.

Thanks so much for visiting! I’ll be back tomorrow with some more projects to share. Until then, make sure you visit the rest of the team’s blogs for some more Halloween inspiration.
