Happy Color Trends Challenge | Happy Happy Birthday

Hey Everyone! Happy Friday!! Today, Embellish started a new challenge and it centers around the word “Happy!” How’s that for a Happy Friday? Anyway, you can check out the Happy Color Trends Challenge details more on the blog. There is also an inspirational graphic below.

For my card, I used Card Base-Ics #1 die to create a card front. I inserted a patterned paper element and decorated it with two happy die cut words and ended it with birthday. I also included a little bit of ribbon and buttons for some fun embellishments. On the white cardstock, I stamped little flowers to create a background in soft stone ink. I just love that light gray color. Then, I added a bit of Diamond Stickles to the the stamped flowers for some glitter power!

Thanks so much for visiting today. Happy is a popular sentiment added to projects now and super easy to do, so I hope you get the chance to create something with these fun colors. The design team has created some great projects. Check them out!

I’ll be back a little later with another card to share featuring some new Papertrey Ink stamps!!

  • Gabby - I like this card! Nice, original design and colors. I like the way you added your ribbon/buttons and the “light and airy” happies! I make a gluey mess when I adhere think alphas or words to my cards. Any tips? 🙂ReplyCancel
