Watch Me Wednesday | Camera Thank You Card

Hey Everyone! So…I know some of you miss Watch Me Wednesdays, so I made a big effort to record a video to share! The thing is, I got a new camcorder because I felt I outgrew my other one. So far, I’m pleased, but I’m going to record another video tonight just to make sure before I remove all the tags and commit to it for a while. I hope you can tell the difference in the video quality. Let me know!

Anyway, about this card. I wanted a cool thank you note for my friend Naomi who is going to be shooting a wedding with us this weekend (YAY)! I’m so excited, so I wanted to make sure I had a card ready to give her because she’s so awesome for helping us out!

I explain this a bit in the video, but the card layout simulates a camera (the journaling card is the base and the circle embellishment serves as the lens)! A little bit of stamping, die cutting, layering and a bunch of other stuff is shown in the video if you care to watch.

Thanks so much for visiting. Enjoy what’s left of your Wednesday!

  • Gabbyq - Cool card! Love the design and those tiny camera stamps are so neat! Video was okay but I honestly didn’t notice a difference. Unless it was my sudio, which I don’t think it was, there were some unusual things going on with it. There were several periods of clunking and scuffling, and others where your voice was at a “normal” volume, then faint. A couple of times the clunking and voice issues were simultaneous. No offense but you asked us for feedback. 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Susan Beauchaine - Adorable card! Your camera stamp is so CUTE!
Your new video camera is better ~ not that the other one was bad.

  • Noelle Reese - I love this Ashley! I love those darling stamps too!ReplyCancel

  • Lynne Phelps - I always love your videos and this one looks great!!! I was wondering, could you share a photo of how you have the camcorder rigged to shoot straight down from above? I am clueless about shooting videos, but several people have asked for videos of my coloring and I don’t have a clue about where to start!

Thanks so much for all the inspiration! I love it that you share your design process as well as the how-to info.ReplyCancel
