Mini Album Monday | Make Waves

Hey there! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I have some fun news to share today. Today’s Mini Album Monday project is brought to you by A Cherry on Top!  Since the weather in my area has been unseasonably warm, I have been  day dreaming about vacations and days on the beach. Our trip to the Dominican Republic about three years ago was amazing. They have the best beaches, in my opinion. I wanted to remember some highlights from the trip, so I made the album with mini bags to tuck in journaling cards, photos, and memorabilia. I went the extra mile to record the process on how I made the album with a few tips and tricks, but before I get to the video, I’ll share some still shots of the pages.

Here is a view from the top where you can see white and kraft Canvas Corp. mini bags peeking.

Not only can you add the mini bags in albums, but also on layouts and even cards. They are a great size for lots of projects. I am even using some to hold extra die cuts in my die organization system! They fit perfectly for the smaller magnet sheet pages I have doubled up in one index file. I simply added a mini bag behind the small magnet sheet and placed extra die cuts in the bag for future use. To see more on the die organization to get a better idea what I am referring to click here, here, and here.

Thanks so much for taking time to visit! Enjoy your day!!

  • Cindy Coutts - Totally fun and my daughter needs a little album for keepsakes when she went to Florida with her friends. When I was using the acrylic paint, on one bag I dabbed it on to give it some texture and then threw a handful of real sand over it and let it dry. It turned out awesome! The sand made the little mini album so authentic! Thank you for the inspiration.ReplyCancel
