From My Heart to Your Home

Hey Bleeps! I know, it’s been a while, but today I have a card to share.  I intended to make this card on Saturday, but could not find my Love Lives Here stamp set. How do you store your Papertrey Ink stamps? I store mine in CD storage containers from IKEA. Well, it seems when I’m looking for a particular stamp set, I have developed this habit of overlooking it. Of course on Saturday I could not find it, but later I did. The label on the set was facing the wrong direction. I went through each set, but somehow missed it on Saturday. Well, I’m just glad I found it!

Thanks for visiting today. I’ll be back tomorrow with a special post! Here’s another photo of the detail and instructions/supplies.

  1. Die cut shape, then stamp grass/flowers and sentiment.
  2. Die cut house and stamp. Using decorative scissors, trim scalloped edge strip, then adhere. Add pink cardstock strip. Adhere to label shape die cut with foam adhesive.
  3. Add distress ink to the label die cut shape.
  4. Trim pink cardstock and emboss, then adhere to A2 card front.
  5. Adhere label shape die cut with foam adhesive.

  • Susan Beauchaine - LOVELY! I have missed seeing your inspirational cards! I store my stamps in the CD cases in little cubes I got at WalMart ~ no Ikea in the KC area. I am thinking about putting them back on the acetate sheets and storing them on a Clip-it-up! I also have a question. Do you love PTI impression plates? I only have 2 and have had trouble with them. I had an OLD Fiskars rubber mat to use with their OLD plastic embossing plates. It finally got so tattered I threw it out & ordered the tan set from PTI. I haven’t used them yet, my luck with their embossing plates wasn’t that great. How does it work for you, and do you have any tips?
    Have a great day, Ashley

  • SueB - What a beautiful and precious card. I store my PTI sets in the cd cases they come in and place the name of them on one end, alphabetize them and place them in a drawer that is right next to me. I seem to use them more than my other stamps.ReplyCancel

  • Jodi Collins - Oh! I absolutely LOVE this!!!ReplyCancel

  • jeannine - i lost the little flower from my love lives here set, so obviously i don’t store mine very well. actually i had used it to decorate an envelope for a card i made w/ garden variety. hopefully it will turn up. i really want to find it now after seeing this darling card you made.ReplyCancel

  • ~Tammy~ - Currently I store them in a four drawer cube you can get at Michaels, but I am going to be moving them to a decorative revolving CD holder once it arrives. They fit perfectly in the four drawer storage system, but I wanted to free up the drawers for other things I don’t necessary want to “see”! 🙂 My question is how do you store your clear sets that do not come with a CD case. I have transferred some to cd cases, but it’s hard to find the jewel CD cases that are not slim.ReplyCancel

  • jen shears - I store mine in their cd cases on a shelf- but I know what you mean! Right now I CANNOT find this die & it’s breaking my heart- I soooo don’t want to buy the whole set because I’m missing this sweet house- ack!
